Designing a way to accept donations
Install the donations app
Donation app can be installed from the Wix app market. Once installed, a new page is added to the site with a default form. The form is connected to the site settings with a default campaign that the customer can manage.
Manage donations campaign settings
From Wix dashboard, the customer can add, edit and archive donation campaigns. Each campaign should have the following editable attributes: name, goal, fixed amount to donate / custom amount to donate, option to donate with frequency (daily / weekly / monthly / one-time) and an option to auto-send a thank you email for donors.
Customize the donations form
From the site editor, the donations campaign owner can change text, design and layout freely - like other forms at Wix. In addition, he can choose the default states for the donation campaign options.
A visual identity and user experience for studio that provides a holistic therapeutic experience where the body and mind are treated as one. Through movement therapy, comunity events, and psychological guidance, the studio helps people reconnect with themselves, build self-awareness, and integrate healing into everyday life.
The E-motion app extends this philosophy into the digital space, creating a personal companion that supports users between sessions — allowing them to register for classes, and encouraging ongoing reflection, emotional tracking, and mindful growth.
A visual identity and user experience for a therapeutic movement studio that combines movement therapy with psychotherapy. The design language, spanning physical and digital touchpoints, creates a harmonious balance between free movement and inner stability.
Wix observed a growing demand among its users, especially nonprofits and community organizers, for a way to collect donations. Because Wix has no built-in solution for accepting donations, users had to find complex workarounds inside Wix platform, or even build it on a different site builder.

PROBLEM
Many Wix users want to create donation pages directly through the platform, but there’s currently no built-in feature that supports this need. As a result, many users turn to external platforms that offer dedicated donation tools.
GOAL
Design a seamless and intuitive system that enables users to easily create and manage donation pages within Wix. It should provide a simple, convenient experience that supports different fundraising needs while maintaining the same level of design flexibility and professionalism that Wix is known for.
Discovery
Donorbox offers a smooth and intuitive user experience, guiding users through a simple onboarding process that makes setup quick and clear. The form creation interface is well organized, with real-time previews that reduce trial and error and give users confidence as they design. Visual customization options like colors, logos, and layouts help maintain brand consistency and build trust.
GoFundMe provides a straightforward, step-by-step process for creating a campaign. However, GoFundMe offers limited design customization. You can upload a cover photo or video, format your story text, and slightly customize the campaign URL and title. But, you cannot change the donation form layout, colors, fonts, or move elements, as the platform keeps a consistent look to ensure trust and ease for donors.
Donately is a fundraising platform designed for nonprofits, churches, and small to mid-sized organizations, combining ease of use, affordability, and powerful features. Its intuitive interface allows users to quickly create donation forms and campaign pages, with customization options for logos, colors, and suggested amounts to align with branding and build donor trust.

Final Design
Installing donation app and creating a campaign
Access Wix.com and select the website where the user wants to integrate Wix Donations.
Then, navigate to the App Market and install Wix Donations.
Once the app is installed, a demo donation campaign in a new page is added.
By clicking on "Manage Campaign" , the user is navigated to the dashboard.
The user clicks on the campaign he wants to edit.
Changing campaign name.
Setting the donation frequency.
First option: show only the amount that the donor can donate.
Second option: add the impact of each amount of donation.
The user can set a campaign goal so donors can see the target and the progress of it.
The campaign is now active. The user navigates to the site editor to review it.
Saving the changes.
Clicking 'Choose Campaign' lets you switch between the campaigns created on dashboard.
Click 'Change Image' to upload any image for the campaign.
Clicking on each section lets the user to customize the form design.
The user can choose what to display on the donation form.
Determining the fields default state.

Publish the site and start collecting donations.
Now the donor can easily make a donation!
